3G iOS 3.1.2 Cydia keeps getting stuck.

As the title states, Cydia keeps getting stuck. I've restored and then jailbroke multiple times. I start Cydia and reorganizes fine. Then when I start it back up I get errors on links. Then it just gets stuck at Reloading or Loading data. Cannot get it past that.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

why not upgrade to 4.2.1 while preserving your baseband ?
or
u could do a custom restore to 3.1.2 (just make sure u backup ur data)
