I am able to jailbreak the phone with redsn0w and get Cydia up and running.
The issue I am having is after having to reboot again.
For example, I install sbsettings which requires a reboot. After powering the phone off manually, I use redsn0w to reboot with. The phone gets stuck at the pineapple logo and does nothing else.
I thought it may be loading the new files installed via Cydia, so I left the phone for a couple hours. Still stuck at the pineapple logo.
The original jailbreak works. The second reboot to get Cydia installed works... Anytime after I install an app from Cydia that requires a reboot, I'm no longer able to get the phone back up and running.
This is on a Verizon iPhone 4.2.9 using the latest beta 3 of redsn0w.
I just answered this in another thread that you were in, and all I can really tell you is you should revert to stock 4.2.9 and just wait. The tethered 4.2.9/4.3.4 jb is meant for hackers/devs and not bug-free. You are definitely going to find problems so if you don't have SHSHs for 4.2.8 or below you should just run stock iOS for now.
