Error message - please help!

Hi
The other day i went to restore my jailbroken + unlocked at&t iphone 3g. But before doing this i didn't shsh my blobs. Now apparently because i didnt do this(and it is happening) itunes is not letting me restore my iphone. Frustratingly just as the new downloaded firmware is about to complete its installation the error message comes uppand says the error number. So i looked it up and the error message means i cant restore it.
Now my iphone is stuck in recovery mode and im not too sure on how to stop this error.
Suggestions on how to fix it would be much appreciated.

On the 3G, SHSH blobs are not required for any 3.x iOS, required for any 4.x iOS.

Why do you need libusb?

Restore to a custom 4.2.1 made with pwnage tool or snowbreeze. Or you can restore to 3.1.3 and use tiny umbrella to exit recovery after getting the 1015 error.
