Problem opening RedSn0w

I’m trying to jailbreak my iphone following this tutorial (

but after unzipping the RedSn0w file that I downloaded I get a snowred.exe file that I can’t open and that looks different that what is shown in the tutorial. In the tutorial the execution file looks like the icon of a pineapple and says just RedSn0w (see Step Three), but in my unzipped files looked, the execution file looks like a blank page with the upper right corner tipped and it says RedSn0w.exe.

I’m using MAC and downloaded the RedSn0w file from Rapidshare using the link in the tutorial.

Thanks MES, but I checked under 'software' at the Dev-Team Blog and I don't find the version of redsn0w that the iclarified recommended using (redsn0w-mac_0.9.4.zip). could you pls tell me if I should look somewhere else at Dev-Team Blog for this particular version or else whether I should use another version (trying to upgrade my jailbroken/unlocked 2G iphone to 3.1.3).

Links for older versions are on older pages on that site. The version number you're seeking is the correct one. I might re-download from iClarified. Their tutorials are excellent.

Thanks again. At the end I found the file somewhere else and did the jailbreak with no problem
