Greenpois0n Custom Boot Logo

I have an untethered 4.2.1 3GS that I jailbreaked with redsn0w.

I want to have custom boot logos, but the ones that are animated via the Cydia store. I tried following the guides to install bootlogo, and the animate file but I never get the custom boot logo.

Is it because mine is an old bootrom? I know there is a feature in redsn0w to add a single png image as a boot logo but I want to add the animate ones without using Greenpois0n

You need to run the new greenpois0n to be able to use animated boot logos i tried it before with redsnow to no avail just run gp over redsnow it worked. For me

I am just out of luck for animated boot logos because I need to use PwnageTool with my 3GS to preserve my BB. I can't use GP.

Oh well.

I think you can run gp over redsnow if you already on custom 4.2.1 search online like iclarified or other website
