Redsn0w Questions?

I’ve jailbroken my ipod with Blackra1n on 3.1.2 firmware. I am currently wanting to boot my ipod in verbose mode, but I need resn0w to do that. I’ve read that I can use resn0w to jailbreak my ipod even if it’s already jailbroken with Pwnage tool or blackra1n. I need to clarify if I can do that without any problem. If I jailbreak with redsn0w will all my themes and such still be on my ipod or will it wipe it out?

nah nothing will be wiped out make sure to check already jailbroken

And uncheck 'install Cydia'. Also, it'll only work with old bootrom devices. Old bootrom is untethered jailbreak so if you can boot your device without running the jailbreak app, you have the old bootrom.

If it's not tethered now, it won't be after you run redsn0w either. To clarify a bit, you're not actually jailbreaking with redsn0w. You've already done that with blackra1n so you don't need to run another jailbreak on top of it. What you're doing is just using some features from redsn0w. This is why you check 'already pwned/jailbroken' and uncheck 'install Cydia'.
