    Default Please Help....Jailbreaking Issue

I had to do a restore yesterday because I couldn't get cydia to open up. It would actually just open then immediately go back to my home screen. After I did the restore this morning I followed the steps to jailbreak. Here is my current problem....After the phone reboots itself, I cannot find the cydia icon anywhere on the phone. Anyone ever had this problem or have any suggestions on a fix.

    Windows Vista
    iTunes 9
    3.1.2

    Thanks in advance,
    Scott

How did you jailbreak? Pwnage Tool or Blackra1n?

If Pwnage, maybe you didn't select Cydia as part of your custom IPSW. If Blackra1n, you have to run the Blackra1n "app". Icon for this should be on your homescreen. There you can install Cydia, Rock and unlock your phone.

I tried to use the newer version of redsnow. I suppose that was wrong. I will try what you have suggested. Will I need to restore the phone once again or just start from where I am now?

    Thanks a lot!

I restored it and then used Blackra1n. I am super pleased to have it back to "Normal" now!
