    Default I need help!!!!! Please!

    So, Im a noob! and ive recently purchased an iphone 3g from my friend. It's firmware 3.1 and i need it jailbroken and unlocked as soon as possible! i looked at all the other posts and nothing would work! i tried redsn0w and it couldn't recognize the the firmware! someone please help!

    You need to download 3.0 firmware as redsn0w does not recognize 3.1

    can you link me a download please?

    I tried the 3.0 restore and it still says unrecognized! can someone please help?

    Try putting the phone in DFU mode and then hold "shift" and click restore.
