    Default Will redsn0w/ultrasn0w mess with official tethering?

    Been reading here for weeks - thanks to everyone who contributes - and finally have a question:

    I'm about to jailbreak and unlock my iPhone 3GS 3.0.1. My carrier (Fido, Canada) officially supports tethering - and I rely upon it.

    I'm concerned the whole redsn0w/ultrasn0w process might mess with this. Valid concern or should tethering still work fine after jailbreak/unlock? Thanks!

    jailbreaking/unlocking alone won't change anything to prevent you from tethering.
