Jailbreaking Stops?
Alright so i have a 2g and i restored it to the latest FW and i get everything going perfectly and it gets stuck on "downloading jailbreak data" and i read that if that happens just restore your phone again. And well since im on T-mobile and Itunes wont recognize my iphone b/c of that and i cant restore it again. Suggestions?

I always just hit cancel in redsn0w and hard reboot the phone. Then run redsn0w again until it finishes correctly.

Same old same old. I did the hard boot (where you press and hold down the home and power button until it does its thing) and its still not working. It just gets stuck on "D/L Jailbreak Data"

could you give me the complete name so I can verify it is correct? Are you using redsn0w 0.8?
Also when it gets stuck quickly unplug the USB cord and plug it back in, seems to jump start the program.

Alright, I've done everything you've asked. I tried d/l redsn0w .8, and I've tied pulling out the USB to try and "jump start" it and the same thing keeps happening. It doesn't get passed the Jailbreaking data stage. It just stays on there for a few min then it goes back to normal (the pic of the USB cord facing the Itunes logo) And redsn0w goes through all the stages (i believe) and says its finished. What else would you like to know?

dan.....relax dude man. Asking what else would you like to know in what seems to be an indignant tone is the fastest way to have someone who is helping you not reply.
Try uninstalling then re-installing redsn0w and also all of iTunes.Download a 8.2 version of iTunes and use that. Makes sure you reboot your computer before you download the new iTunes and redsn0w.
Run it again and see what happens. And relax dan, everyone here is just trying to help out.
