I installed cydia using redsnow for the iphone 3g 3.0 and when I opened a new app my iphone froze. I rebooted and now its stuck with an apple logo.
I tried reinstalling redsnow but that did not work, it is still stuck with just apple logo and doesnt finish loading.

You can try holding home and power until the iphone shuts off, then when it shuts off keeping holding home and power for 15 seconds (it will show the Apple logo maybe twice but at the end of the 15 seconds the screen will be off) then release both and press power for two seconds. Wait for a few minutes to see if it will boot.
If that doesn't work see if you ssh to resolve the problem, otherwise it will be a DFU restore.iPhone 5s 64gb iOS 7

here's what i did and it got me back to recovery mode...
connect iphone to usb (with apple logo on)
when you get to the dfu mode part skip the first step then hold power and home for 10 seconds...then hold home for about 20 or until usb symbol appears on iphone, then connect to itunes and restore.
Im done with 3.0 jailbreaking, I've used a mac and a pc both with ****** up results, i knew i should've not gotten the upgrade.
