I'm on 4.1 (3GS, 05.13.04), I've SHSH for 4.3.5 - can I update, jailbreak & unlock?

Basically that's the question - being on 3GS 4.1, 05.13.04 and having SHSH for 4.3.5 (no 4.3.3 unfortunately) - can I update to 4.3.5, and retain ability to jailbreak and unlock?

I guess 4.3.5 is the best choice for 3GS, since some apps that I require simply do not install on version < 4.3. Version 5+ would probably be to heavy for 3GS (what do you think?).

Can I somehow create custom IPSW for 4.3.5 (using redsn0w for example), to preserve baseband and then jailbreak it? Couldn't find the exact tutorial for my case anywhere around, or even a note of whether it is possible (safe) or not.

iOS 5.0.1 is fine on 3GS with all new features .
Use redsnow 0.9.9b9d to build a NO_BB ipsw of 5.0.1, put iphone into pwned dfu mode and restore to it. jailbreak with redsnow And tether boot if you have the new bootrom.

No, just monitor your ram usage enable ram monitor in sbsettings , close apps that you open. 3GS has quite a fast processor and it can handle iOS 5

I just did as in tutorial (trying to update to 5.0.1), but after restore iphone reboots in DFU mode again. I tried to forcefully quit it, by holding power and home buttons together, but id doesn't quit. Is it expectable trouble?

I tried 'Just Boot' feature of redsn0w and suddenly got a message "...curent device doesn't suport untethered options", but according to tuts and docs it should be. Maybe not every old baseband supports it (mine is 05.13.04). Do you guys know the exact version that works?

Still in DFU mode though. Seems no way out of it.

By the way update to 4.3.5 with redsn0w is not possible. It says that only 4.3.3 and 5.0.1 are supported.
