Getting error when upgrading from 4.3.5 to 5.0
I've run into a bit of a problem during upgrade.
I have an iphone 4 v.4.3.5 and want to upgrade to v.5.0 (not the new release 5.0.1). I've followed the iClarified guide and downloaded Redsn0w 0.9.9b5 and firmware 5.0 (4 GSM): iPhone3,1_5.0_9A334_Restore.ipsw. After holding the option button i get this error massage: "This device isn’t eligible for the requested build". I think the error has to do with my hosts file and I've tried changing it back and forth a few times now but I can't get it to work. Isn't the correct line: # 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com ? I've also flushed the DNS cache and unchecked the box in TinyUmbrella that says: "set hosts to cydia on exit". Seems like I've done everything right but I still can't get it to work, can somebody please help me out?
Thanx!

You don't set your hosts file towards cydia for IOS 5 restore, the reason you can't restore is because apple is only signing 5.0.1, you are too late for 5.0.

You can't , only 5.0.1 at the moment.
