Exclamation HELP!!!!! given replacement 3Gs on iOS **3.0**... best way to jailbreak/unlock??
    hey there,
I need some help with a little project. A coworker has given me their iPhone 3Gs to jailbreak and unlock because I have done it for her in the past. However, this time, she hands me an Apple Replaced iPhone 3Gs that is not activated (it has since been activated) and running iOS 3.0. I have tried to update to 4.3.3 using pwnage tool, but iTunes will not allow me to do so because (aparently) that firmware is no longer signed by them.

Please let me know your thoughts on the best way to go about updating, jailbreaking, and unlocking this iPhone, as I am currently at a loss for where to start with this, since the latest firmware updates the bootloader and requires a tethered boot.... since i'm doing this as a favor for someone who is rather technologically deft, it would be best if you could suggest a method that does not require a tethered boot.

    thanks!!!!!!!!!
    jesse

You can still restore to custom firmware of 4.1 as apple resigns back IOS 4.1 for your convenience
