Pwnage 4.3.3 (please help)

Hi,

I have an iPhone 3GS still in iOS 3.1.2(7D11) jailbreaked and unlocked on baseband 05.11.07, should I be able to upgrade with Pwnage Tool 4.3.3 to iOS 4.3.3? I just haven't seen any posts for ppl with such an old firmware so I want to double check. There seems to be a few install problems out there, has anyone been able to upgrade successfully?

Also, technically I don't have to save my SHSH blob, it's just a safety net if I want to downgrade in the future right? When I open Cydia, it reads "SHSH: iOS 3.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0 ...........4.3" Is that an indication of the blobs? I don't think I have done anything with it though.

Yes you can go to 4.3.3 with a custom firmware made by pwnagetool. You don't need blobs to get to 4.3.3
