Jailbreak pwange 4.2.1 - total fail twice! - Help

Hi all,

I've jailbroken my iphone a ton of times, but I have now tried jailbreaking it twice now.

Each time, during the restore it freezes about 2/3 of the way though the restore. And each time I tried to just restore it afterwards using the itunes firm ware. Both time the iphone got screwed up and totally bricked.

The genius bar replaced it twice - thank goodness.

I got the error message 1611 the second time

Any thoughts.

I love the iphone jailbroken, but I'm nervous to try this again.

If this has happened to 2 different iPhones then it might be something with your computer.

You might be doing something wrong. Which iPhone is this and what firmware is it currently on?

It's the 4g iPhone and the newest firmware. I'm so bummed.

Instead of PwnageTool why don't you try Greenpois0n instead?

Seems to be working so far! I need to give it a day because the first time, the phone kinda spent the day freaking out after it seemed fine.

But this is looking good so far!
