I can get my hands on my friends AT&T simcard. So I can use his then. Once I put my sim in I do not need to activate again correct?

Once you are past the emergency call screen you don't need the ATT sim anymore.

well if your phone is locked to at&t and if u can get the official sim.. that would be great... you dont have to hacktivate..

Thanks for all the help guys. Ill prolly just grab my friends sim, so I do not have to deal with battery drain issues.
