JB with PT means no more custom bootlogo???

Jb with custom 4.2.1. installed animate from cydia and i can't use any animated bootlogo anymore.

so did i do something wrong? or i really can't use animated boots bc of PT?

You can download greenpois0n from greenpois0n.com and run that over pwnagetool... No need to restore or any, just run it. It is completely safe, and wont do any harm at all. All this will do, is enable the animated bootlogo.. let me know if this helps.

ill give this a whirl, i think it'll work too but there has to be an easier way to do this?

actually no, it doesn't work...ah well hopefully it will someday.

Why would you want the animated bootlogo anyway, it's only active for a little while before the device is functional, which suggests that the iOS itself has to be running for it to work, delaying the devices availability to the user further.

it reminds me of the good ol iphone 2.x days...when i first got my iphone 3G and had no idea what\how winterboard worked and what cydia was.

Well depending on how far u have got with reinstalling apps and things, u cud always download sn0wbreeze (windows port of pwnagetool) and activate the animated bootlogos through that. I kno its a bit of a long way round just to get them, but it does work. I swear by SB...

I know it does work, but i just don't trust it much.

supposed to have ibooks fixed in it and it doesn't, loaded and completely updated cydia and i had no sources, apps or anything in it.

I think ill just wait for animated in cydia to be updated to support PT or de team to add it in, or the end of the world.

I personally have never had a problem with sn0wbreeze... Do u require an unlock or anything? Or a hacktivation??
If u want i have a custom firmware, that i could send you. It has 2048 (2gig) root partition, and ha animated boot logos activated. I know this works, as im using it right this second
