Any battery drain issue with PWNAGE 4.2.1?

Hi guys.

Most of us including me experienced battery drain issue with their jailbroken devices using Greenpoison.

So PWNAGE jailbreakers did you experienced or noticed any similar issue?

Please I would like pro jailbreakers and well experienced one to reply. Because I really don't want to restore my device and eventually finding out that PWNAGE has the same issue.

Please remember this will be a very useful topic because hundreds of jailbreakers were asking about this lately.

I aswell would like to know. On greenpois0n RC6 My battery seems fine when in stand by but when im either using safari or whatsapp it seems to rape my battery.

I didnt seem to have this issue with redsnow teathered jailbreak.

I did a fresh restore and set up as a new phone and jail broke with RC5_b2 then b4 overtop then RC6_Final ontop again. I cant seem to find any offical answer anywhere.

No one replied so I took action by my self and restored and jailbroke using PwnageTool

My battery drain seems to have been fixed. I did full restore and set up new phone. not hacktivated, itunes activated. jailbroke with Greenpois0n 6.1 and re did all my 20 sum cydia tweaks and reloaded all my games and apps and themes... and safari seems to be on par now at 10% battery drain per hour giving me back the said 10 hour web browsing on wifi life...

Right now my phone usage stats since last charge say 5 hours usage and 22 hours standby and i still have 51% battery left. Before i would have been lucky to even get half of that battery life...

When i had the issue i had jailbroke with GP RC5_b2 first then GP RC5_b4 overtop and then GP RC6_Final all overtop agian. My best guess is that jailbreaking overtop a previous version will work but may cause problems as well... Either that or one of the previous beta RC5 versions has a issue and doing RC6 overtop doesnt correct the issue...

So if you have JB RC6 overtop of prev versions and are having battery issues i suggest you start fresh and restore and use RC6.1 and no overlays...

Yes! it is confirmed that GP (all beta versions) sucking battery like hell. Me and my friends have tested GP and PWNAGETOOL on 6 devices just to make sure that GP sucks!

Some users reported that they don't have this issue! but most of GP users reporting that they do have it!

Im using snowbreeze..updated from 3.1.3 to 4.2.1 and unlocked with ultrasn0w.. I see improvements to my battery..just updated 2 days ago.. Coz i realise that my battery running fast when safari while on iOS3 but niw it last a bit longer.. Quote "a bit" overall love the new phone with MP2 theme..Sleek!!
