Updated to 4.2.1 but no service?

Everything went through successfully with Pwnage and cydia words and etc.

But now I'm not getting any service. 3G nor and networks are showing up.

help??

Are you on an official carrier like AT&T?

If you are you need to uncheck "Activate Phone" because it is checked by default. You have to choose "Expert" in order to unselect it.

So you have to make a new custom firmware & install it without the "Activate iPhone" selection checked.

wow thanks I have the same thing trouble is now my phone won't restore back to original iTunes is showing error 1013!! I have seen a fix for that so off to try and sort both

Ahh found the error 1013 is because of Tiny Umbrella leaving hosts changed to cydia so iTunes won't do an official restore, so rather than try and fix that first I created a new custom Pwnage restore without activation ticked and it works a treat. phone is up with carrier and jailbroken!

I have an official unlock from 3 and activation from O2, I presume that means it's still unlocked or is that locked again to O2?

As long as you didn't restore to an official Apple Firmware your baseband shouldn't have been updated.
