Need help with jailbreak with no service

I have managed to jailbreak my iphone 3g for the first time myself with the pwnage and everything seemed to installed perfectly. Once it was done I opened cydia and updated everything and installed ultrasn0w repo666 but there was error while installing it also I saw somewhere that I should install yellowsn0w in the sources but it couldn't find the url.

I can't get the carrier list and it won't connect to my t-mobile sim car. I don't know what else I am missing to get it to work and need some help.

Oh yeah here are the details:

Version - 4.2.1 (8C148)
Carrier - 9.0
Modem Firmware - 05.15.04

I have tried to turn on and off the 3g settings and still get "no service".

Run redsn0w 0.9.6RC8 and choose only ipad bb . If you have the new bootrom , run GP over it to get untethered jailbreak at 4.2.1.
Install ultrasn0w to unlock your ipad BB.
