Need Custom Firmware for 4.2.1

Hey guys my iPhone is the ipad bb and version 4.2.1 and its stuck on the restoring problem everyones got. Its the new bootrom. Anyone that could help with a link to a custom firmware would be godly! thats what i need right? :/

Go Check you PM box. Rename .zip to .ipsw and i am sure you know what to do the rest. If not, look at some of my posts.

No, you need redsn0w , browse to stock fw, put your iphone into dfu via redsn0w, only then run itunes and shift + restore to CFW of 4.2.1

I did it right as you just explained and its starting to restore.

is it normal for it to sit on the last loading bar on itunes and on the iphone?

I also need the ispw or at least a link. Is there a reason that one isn't posted in the open? I have searched and searched. Also, is redsnow the only way to jb an 4.2.1 on an iphone 4? After a ton of reading I believe so but I'm not 100% positive. Any help will be appreciated

I would also need a custom 4.2.1 firmware for my 3GS! I have the iPad baseband, so it needs to activate my phone (and if it installs cydia+ultrasn0w I guess that's a perk )
