Hello,to all on the Forum,

i have a i-phone 3Gs with 3.1.2 firmware on it.i jailbroke it with jailbreakme.com and everything worked fine..,however when i went to install boot lace though add source in cydia it found the package installed it but give me an error message not supported on this device?this is not good as the only reason i want this for is to add iboot to mod my ps3,the question that i have is....as this is already jailbroken with comex i beleive that in order to install i-boot you need to do it with black rain,redsnow ect..is there another way round getting i-boot on my i-phone? can i take off jailbreak up date to latest firmware on i-tunes and the downgrade? when i tried to do a restore on i-tune it said it would restore and update to the latest firmware so does this mean i can take jailbreak off and down grade?

You would need to have the shsh blobs saved for this phone to downgrade so you could use blackra1n. Download tinyumbrella and see what the phone has saved shsh blobs and then post back with the results.

is there no way to get i-boot on then ?

Cap,Does this mean i cannot do what i want?
no way of getting iboot on? i did read somewhere that if you had of JB with Blackrain you could add i-boot?

Im pretty sure this is correct you have to be on a 3g or lower iphone to be able to do this.
