pwnage tool 4.1.3 says wrong firmware selected when selecting ipad 3.2.2 firmware

guys i need a help. i need to make a custom 4.1 firmware for 3gs new bootrom with 6.15 baseband. i got mac. 3gs 4.1 stock firmware and ipad 3.2.2 firmware and pwnage tool 4.1.3 unlock edition. so i started pwnage tool, selected 3gs model, selected 4.1 3gs firmware, said yes when asked for ipad baseband change and selected ipad 3.2.2 ipsw and pwnage tool said that wrong firmware bundle selected. am i doing anything wrong? cheers

Is the iPad firmware labeled _Restore or _Custom_Restore? I'm not entirely sure of the process, but if you downloaded a 3.2.2 made for iPad jailbreaking, it wouldn't work. If you got the firmware straight from Apple, then this is not the issue.

Why dont you just restore to 4.1 then use redsnow to update your baseband? What is your baseband now btw?

hi guys, i have been trying to upgrade to the latest firmware from 4.0 onwards, but have not done anything yet since i jbed my 3gs with blackra1n 3.1.2 rc3 and have not found any straightforward explanation on how i should do it. on the blackra1n site it is not clear whether one could upgrade to 4.2.1 or not from a blackra1ned 3gs. if it is there or if you know the steps to upgrade to 4.2.1 please let me know. my phone is:

blackra1in 3.1.2 (7D11)
baseband 05.11.07
what should i do?
