Register or no?

I just got my iphone 4 with 4.2.1 I want to jailbreak it I read that I could do so with Limera1n, my question is should I register my iphone on itunes or no? I don't know if apple tracks my phone and stuff

Ok I been reading on jailbreaking 4.2.1 and it seems like there's no nontethered jailbreak yet?

yeah yeah it's only tethered atm for iPhone 4 but i think it's musclenerd who's working on an untethered jb and he's tweeted that it'll be ready by christmas, so if he's right it'll drop in a couple a days, so I'd suggest just wait for the untethered jailbreak. and with the registering, I dunno anything about that but it should be fine to register it, my 3GS is and I've had no problems..

Alright cool yea I'm not interested in tethering my iphone and I read that it has to boot into jailbroken and some nonsense there so I'll just wait. Yea I registered it already. Thanks
