black screen 3.1.3 error when i try custom firmware

I tried the new ireb for my 3gs made custom firmware via snowbreeze it starts n stops and i get error 1600 redsnow i get asl dill error im about to shoot this phone with my superblackhawk 44!

You must have shsh blob saved in Cydia Server to restore to any version if apple is not signing the firmware.
You have to run tiny umbrella and then close it, your hosts file will be automatically point to Cydia Server.
Assuming you have 3.1.3 shsh blob, put your iphone into manual dfu and shift + restore to stock 3.1.3 fw.
If you are restoring to custom firware of 3.1.3, your iphone has to be prejailbroken first.
If you are restoring to IOS 4.xx, then you have to use redsn0w 0.9.6b6 to put you into dfu mode and then shift + restore to cfw of 4.xx
Make sure your itunes is 9.2 to the latest for IOS 4.xx to work.

this is how it went down i got the phone from a friend.. he never had itunes so, when he went to his new phone "not a iphone"AT&t he could not save his sim contacts so,I used jailbreakme.com to JB it and used sim manage to save to his sim worked perfect... I just got a new laptop so i was not able to save shsh what I did to get to this point is "erase all content and setting" i didn't know till i got my new laptop the u should not erase if u JB ur phone so,the new ireb stuck it in black screen redsnow i get the asl.dill error .. idk what to do i tried all i could i think??? thanx for the reply!

also I have never got blackra1n to work even after fixmyra1n..
