There is no official release of pwnage tool to make a custom 4.2.1 for iPhone 4 yet.

Posting links to custom firmware is against forum rules my friend.
Also that was probably made with a unofficial 4.2.1 iPhone 4 bundle meaning various things could be broken (like facetime).

I'm using an iP4 on 4.2.1 made using an unofficial bundle with Pwnage (then jailbroken with redsnow) and have had no general problems. A couple of Cydia apps have unusual behavior, but removing them fixes the problem.

Sorry guys, I tried to stick my firmware in my dropbox to share, but DB doesn't like it, even zipped. I don't have the capacity on my servers to share such a large file with so many people. I might be able to share the custom bundle for Pwnage when I get back to my PC though. I assume I can post links to that here, right mods?

I believe you can link to a bundle no problem. Just not the custom firmware itself.

Can we backup the 1.59.00 baseband with this?

Wesss, not sure what you mean by backup, but it let's you upgrade the firmware without touching your current basband.
Yes, I used the redsn0w that was in one of the updates (not the very recent beta) and I point it to the original firmware. I had problems at one point but downloading the firmware straight from Apple fixed it. Another time I had trouble booting tethered, and so I rebooted the hackintosh, changed my USB cable and port and it worked fine. Not sure which was the culprit.
