Changing baseband or downgrading??

Does anyone know if there is a way to change my jailbroken iPhone iOS 4.1 baseband?
I was dumb enough to upgrade to 4.1 and now I currently have 02.10.04 and I'm unable to unlock my iPhone anymore. I was hoping to change the baseband back to the unlockable one?
Unless you guys know of any other way to unlock my iPhone in it's current state??

Not possible unless it's an iPhone 3G and you are obviously on an iPhone 4.

Just gonna have to wait a few weeks sorry buddy.

That's a bummer...I just moved to the UK and I was hoping I could use my iPhone while I was here.

A few weeks?! (at least)... And where do u get your information? This is how rumors start.

Anyway iOS 4.2.1 public release is expected to be released on Nov 24th Tuesday (apple usually releases this dAy of the week). After that by approximately 2 days, the DEVteam promises the release of their new unlock which will cover the 4.1 basebands and the new 4.2 basebands for the 3G and 3GS only.. So this shouldn't take more than 1 week.

Thats the point there is no real info on when the unlock for 4.1 will be out for iPhone 4. That is why I said probably and at least a few weeks. The only info has been from Sherif Hashim and Musclenerd on twitter. I was responding to the question about the unlock for iPhone 4 which is why I did not mention the "expected" timeline for the 3G/3GS unlock. The only info we have is what Sherif and musclenerd have stated on twitter (neither has promised anything btw) and what the dev team summed all that up with on their blog. Nobody is starting any rumours...

I sincerely apologize for the misinterpretation. It was totally my bad.. Yes that is correct.. The release date for an iPhone 4 unlock is uncertain.. They will start to develop it as soon as the one for 3G and 3GS is available to he public.

I hope u understand my frustration sometimes when I read some of the bogus threads people post.. Totally making everyone try things on their phones that screw up and even brick their phone.. I'm sorry...

An unlock for 3g and 3gs should be sometime this week but not for iphone 4.
I am glad I have a factory unlock, pricey but is worth it.
