itouch jailbreak

I want to jailbreak my 1st gen itouch 2.2.1. Problem that I have,I am trying to use Quickpwn to jailbreak it,but when I down load the Quickpwn exe tool and try to open it, windows says Quickpwn stopped working,and I can't open it. Any suggestions on a fix ? Is there another jailbreak method other than Quickpwn? I tried to download the exe from other sites,but the same problem. Thanks for any help.

You can upgrade your iPod Touch to 3.1.3 and jailbreak with jailbreakme. Quickest and simplest way

How to upgrade a 1st gen itouch to 3.1.3 ? Latest update for that itouch is 2.1.2. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the iPod Touch can go up to 3.1.3.

Download the stock 3.1.3 ipsw for iPod Touch 1G and shift+restore to it in iTunes. Then go to Safari and go to jailbreakme(dot)com and slide to jailbreak.
