where's Cydia after jailbreak?
I've jail broken my iphone with Pwnage after upgrading to 4.0.1 firmware....a few times....but can't find any Cydia app on the phone afterwards. This is the second iphone I've owned and I'm familiar with jail breaking so am puzzled about this road block.
what am I missing? There's no installer.app or Cydia to be found anywhere after jailbreaking.

Did you put a check in the box by cydia installer, when you built your custom ipsw?

Yep...did it a few times over again. Checked the Cydia Installer box, built the IPSW and all that. Got the blue SUCCESS! window at the end of the process. That's why I'm wondering....then the phone needed to be restored, per my iTunes direction. Right?

Was the phone in DFU mode? When you option click to restore to your custom ipsw?

Yes, I got the SUCCESS! blue window saying the DFU mode was successfull, then after that was directed to iTunes where iphone was supposed to be restored.

You have to option click and pick the custom ipsw that you just built, and install it by itunes.

I did that, yes....I clicked on the IPSW that was built....I followed all the steps several times.
The IPSW is showing in my Macintosh hard drive as this:
