Does PWnageTool 3.1.5 upgrade the baseband automatically?

I currently have 3.1.2 with 05.11.07 baseband on my iPhone 3G and I want to upgrade to 3.1.3 using PwnageTool. I know I can preserve the baseband in PwnageTool but, if I use expert mode and DONT check the Activate my Phone box, will it upgrade my baseband to 05.12.01? I don't want to hactivate since it causes issues with Push but I DEFINITELY need it to be unlocked (and thus I need to preserve my 05.11.07 baseband). I have an ATT SIM to activate, but I use T-Mobile for the actual service.

The activate part does affect whether the baseband is updated or not. There's a setting specifically for the baseband update. As far as I remember, this setting is greyed out and you can't change it.

I used the PWNAGE 3.15 and had no problems went smooth and my baseband remained at 05.11.07, thats 3gs and old boot rom!

I did not choose activate as I am on Att and my phone activates through itunes!

I know you have a 3g so all I know about is 3gs!
