We hacked our 3G phones (3.1.2) on an imac. For weeks they all worked, then the one that is used with a Vista rather than Mac Osx 10.5.8 stopped working. First it would quit and I'd reboot. Then gradually that didn't work. It started "eating" the tethering in networks - it would work for a minute and then stop, then the tether would disappear completely. We decided after reading a lot and me getting pretty confused to retore it and download the thing again. I couldn't remember the password, so we bought a 4th liscense. It worked for a minute on Vista, then went off and the tether capability disappeared.

Yes, I read IF YOU HAVE VISTA....but my brother, who is considerably more techy than I am said "That means you're trying to download it on a windows vista, but we're not.' Someone else said "You're not su[pposed to use pwnage for windows, you're suppossed to use blackra1n. Actually we tried blackra1n originally and after doing the whole deal on two phones we had no tether at all. Which is why we loved pwnage.

So, do I need to follow the directions for Vista or use a different system or is my phone bad (my phone shuts off all the time when I answer it, and I've thought it was queer for months now.) Desperately need tether, not unlocking. Have the right network...
