pwnagetool quits after a few steps!

I'm trying to jailbreak/unlock my 1G iphone (2.2) with pwnagetool. I've downloaded the pwnagetool programm and the ipsw-file, and started doing the steps described in the guide of this homepage. but after a few steps (while "creating ipsw") the program quits. I've tried it several times, but the program is always stopping.

I'm working with mac (10.4.11)

can anyone help me???

What version of pwnage tool are u using? I think the new ones have trouble supporting the older firmware.

pwnagetool 3.0, the one that i've downloaded from How to Jailbreak/Unlock/Activate iPhone 2G on 3.0 Firmware - PwnageTool.

Upgrade thru iTunes and then go to blackweather
then download blacktain open and and click on the one button. Then when u jailbreak go to cydia and download bootnueter and open it and unlock
