out of date itunes??

I have a previously jailbroken iphone 3gs 3.12 that fell victim to Supremem Preferences. The whole phone started crashing. The backlight would not shut off and the icons stopped working. I had to constantly turn off the phone and then restart it, which only solved the problem for about 10 minutes... then the whole issue started again.

So I just restored the phone. Yet that did not fix it, because when I restored it the bad setting manipulated by SP came back. Then I did a complete restore and set up the phone as a new phone and started completely empty... Now I have a very fresh phone. And I am trying to use pwnage to jailbreak it.

When I run the pwnage program it says that my version of itunes is out of date and I need 8 or higher. But I do have 9.0.2.

Can someone advise me how to fix this?!

wow... never mind. I just tried blackra1n and that was a 1 second operation!!
