    Default iPawned at 1.1.14 forever???

I jailbroke and unlocked my iPhone when the 8GBs first came out and now I want to update it. Problem is I no longer have that old laptop and no matter what firmware I download it is the wrong one. I do remember having to downgrade the firmware then use pawnage tool and iLiberty+ to upgrade it before it would unlock. Now the stupid thing is stuck in limbo mode and won't upgrade using pawnage tool 3.0 or any other version of pawnage tool. I cannot even get it to reset to factory settings because pawnage tool, nor anything else, will talk to it.

I cracked the glass on this new one and Apple said they would replace it for me, I need to reset it to factory defaults before I take it back to them.

Can someone help me out with this?

    Mac OS X 10.6.2
    iMac 27"
    iPhone 2nd Gen 8GB

Thanks for your help in advance.

I'm not understanding. Every firmware you download is "the wrong one"? Are trying to restore a first gen iPhone with 3G or 3GS firmwares? Your firmware file should start with iPhone1,1.
