problem with upgrading

i just upgraded my firmware to 3.1.2

after upgrading, my iphone seems to keep on trying to connect to the data cellular network when im in the text message part.. why is that so guys? what can i do

Huh?! Be more specific with exactly what the phone is doing. Error messages? Pop ups? What message app are you using? Happens all the time or just sometimes?

whenever i wanna type a text message, an error messages comes out station cant connect to data cellular network.. im using the normal app message app... happens all the time..
