Same thing here... I never had a problem with jailbreaking before, but this one is giving me problems.. Only for my custom jailbreak settings though.. Don't understand it?
EDIT: I just tried it again for the 3rd time in a row and it finally worked. I don't know how, but something clicked finally... These are the steps that I took to do it:
Make sure iTunes and iTunes helper are both stopped.
Build custom firmware making sure you
uncheck the activate phone option for ATT users
Uncheck ICY if you don't want it.. I never used it and don't have a need for it...
Build your custom firmware.
Once it is built, open up blackra1n RC3
Jailbreak your phone from there
Wait for it to reboot
Open iTunes once phone has completely reboot
Option (Mac) click and choose your custom firmware
It should work for all you ATT users out there now... I'm not sure why it took me 3 times to get it, but something worked... hopefully this helps some people out! Thank me if soo!
