Default iPhone Won't Turn On After Using Pwnagetool After Recovery Mode

So this isn't my first time jailbreaking an iphone and now i've run into a small problem that i can't seem to fix...

I followed the iclarified.com website to help me get through the pwnagetool up to when it gets my iphone into recovery mode. i've been trying to google and search these forums but have gotten no luck at all at helping me fix this problem.

so up to now i have the:

    "iPhone2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Custom_Restore.ipsw"
created and then i plugged it into my computer and my computer recognized that it was an iPhone in recovery mode at first itunes oddly didn't pick it up. and now my phone won't turn on or respond or anything T-T... pushing and holding the power button doesn't work nor pushing and holding the home button and connecting to my PC won't work. Basically it's a blank screen that isn't being picked up by my PC or my Mac now...

would anyone be able to help me with this issue, please?

    thanks in advance!

Click and hold both power/sleep and home button for 8-10 seconds then let both go. That should reset the phone and let it boot normally.

If it does boot normally, shift-restore through iTunes and point to the custom firmware you made. If your phone was already jailbroken, you don't need to put it into DFU/recovery mode, so try it that way first.

If it doesn't boot normally from here, you need to put it into DFU mode and restore from there. To do that, click and hold both power/sleep and home button for 10 seconds, then release power/sleep button but keep holding down the home button for another 10 seconds. iTunes should now recognize the phone. From here you can restore to an official firmware through iTunes and afterwards restore to your custom firmware.

exactly the same problem. just get a black screen after restoring custom file is completed.

itunes still sees iphone in recovery mode. tried everything to restart the phone allow it to boot normally.

they only alternative is to restore official firmware and start from scratch again.

i figured it out. new bootrom with new 3gs. pwnagetool doesn't not work. only solution for time being is tethered jb provided by blackra1n, meaning you must connect your iphone 3gs everytime you reboot or turn off and on your phone. meaning crashes, hangs, and all.

Its important that once you do this and get the apple logo to appear that you let the phone sit up to 10 minutes. Its a slow reboot. I got to anxious and thought I have an issue when I did not.
