So I did the most horrible thing possible with this phone and dropped it in water. I just got my replacement iPhone from the Apple store. Of course the first thing I did when I got home was use PwnageTool to make an ipsw and restore it. After a few tries, tho, I had to give up because it kept getting stuck on "contacting iPhone activation server" or something of the like. Now, I know that the 3gs is supposed to be shipping out now with changes that weren't announced to make them un-jailbreakable but I was wondering if they would do that with the 3g models that were being shipped out for replacement purposes? any fix?
