Default iTunes:Unknown Error occured (1015) iphone could not be restored

After many attempts, after running Pwnge Tool, I get this message each time I try the restore process thru iTunes.

3G, no idea what firmaware or baseband or any of this other stuff...
I originally had 2.2 but was trying to be a smartass and upgrade to the latest.
I think I ran Ultrasnow and Pwnage at the first attempts and then?

Please someone help me I am losing my mind!
Haven't slept well in a week since I managed to F---k this up!

Any help or clues would be appreciated immensly!

It restored correctly. When you get error 1015, use tinyumbrella or recboot to kick it out of recovery mode. Phone will reboot as normal and go to the emergency call screen for you to then proceed to activate/hacktivate.

Edit: if its a custom fw after recboot or tinyumbrella, youll have access to SB.

As far as I understand, error 1015 is a failure to downgrade the baseband. That's not really important though as the firmware restore has went through and the phone will function normally once it's out of recovery mode.
