Question about pwnage and the baseband 3GS

I want to know if when creating a custom 3.1 firmware for the 3GS. If you DO NOT select the activate option, will it still bypass the baseband update? Or will it update the baseband at that point?

Reason I'm asking is because I want to do that push hack that I did with redsnow. I want to activate with a AT&T sim to get push working, then use ultrasn0w to get it working on my tmobile.

This pwnage does not update the baseband no matter what you select.

Excellent. Then I can try the old PUSH work a round. Too bad I have to go through all this crap again. But oh well. :-)
