Jailbreak Factory-Unlocked iPhone 3GS on Modem Firmware 05.11.07
Hey everyone,
Modem Firmware: 05.11.07
Device: Factory-Unlocked Apple iPhone 3G[S]
[Introduction]
It would be safe to say, you can consider my iPhone as an OTB, out the box, 3.1.0 iPhone 3G[S]. An hour before the release of “PwnageTool 3.1.3.dmg”, I restored my Redsn0w’ed iPhone to firmware 3.1.0 because my iPhone would not boot on 3.0.0. Since I’ve done a restore via iTunes, my iPhone is no longer ‘pwned’ regardless of my previous JB.
[/Introduction]
[The Problem]
Just to get things clear, I’m not looking to downgrade the baseband from my unfortunate upgrade, baseband 05.11.07, since I don’t need to unlock my iPhone. In other words, the phone is factory-unlocked and therefore I don’t want to unlock it.
That said, will I be able to jailbreak my iPhone 3G[S] any time soon? As far as I know, jailbreak usually gets released a lot faster than the unlock. Would I be considered overly ‘hopeful’ to be expecting this anytime this week?
[/The Problem]
[Conclusion]
Can’t believe I upgraded ‘blindly’ an hour before the dev-team released the new version of the PwnageTool, I appreciate any sort of feedback (including attacks on my vulnerability, but I’m already sad and that’s just mean =P).
[/Conclusion]
Thanks in advance,
‘3awas (alghawas)
“P.S: I’ve already tried a lot of old methods, please only put forward updated methods.”

[Common sense]
WTF is ur problem? Knowing the history of the cat and mouse game, rule número 1 is : DONT UPGRADE!
Even before the update to jailbreak was there, they say don't upgrade.

[\fun]
[possible solution]
ur time is running out! Hurry and try to return to the apple store with excuses of battery issues and such as they might replace it with a 3.01 iPhone
