Add repo666.ultrasn0w.com after you jailbreak. Then download ultrasn0w from cydia

Totally confused... totally frustrated. I've been using this rubbish software for 5 hours now and I always end up at the same places.

The key issue being, I have no service when I turn on my phone, despite it accepting my sim card. There are no reception bars.

When I have tried to roll back the firmware to 3.0, pwnage will not accept the file 'iphone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw'. Instead the only option it provides is the file, 'iphone1,2_3.1_7C144_Restore.ipsw'.

Which is clearly a problem since, this is the firmware 3.1 which as I have read above can cause issues.

All in all throughly irritated. Any help please anyone??

Download Pwnagetool 3.01 since 3.1 is for 3.1....

Not possible. Pwnage tool 3.01 wont run on my PPC. It crashes consistently while building the package.

From what I have read throughout the day it would seem that even if I manage to downgrade the phone to 3.0, I cannot unlock it for use with my Orange Sim Card.

Basically its my dads old O2 handset and he's given it to me. I want to unlock it for Orange sim card and multiple others- i'm travelling in India and China, so will buy local sims while there.

The phone definately has Firmware- 3.1 Build- 7C144

I leave for India 19th October. Is there anything I can do to make this a useful handset before I leave?
