Help! Power button doesn't work on my iPhone 2G and I need to unlock it
Moved to England for boxing reasons and now need to unlock my iPhone but have been unable to do so. The power button is broken, although you can still press it in and out?!
I can't take it apart to look inside as I'm terrible with fiddly things like that...is there anything I can do???????????

Guess you can try to use a SW-trick to get the phone into DFU mode

I don't think you can jailbreak at all that way...I mean I think the only logical way to do is to get that power button fixed.

I have the file with the tweak. If you are willing to try it out, it will put your phone in dfu mode which you can install the 3.1 custom firmware. If you need help, write to me [email protected]
