Iphone 3G OS 3.0 jailbreak help needed please

I'm trying to jailbreak my iphone 3G OS 3.0 using Pwnage Tool but my home key is broken so I can't put it in DFU mode. Does anyone know how to fix the home key or how to use my mac to do it without any button pressing?
