Has anyone jailbroke iPhone 2G?

I am trying ti see if I crated my 3.0 firmware with Pwnage tool, can I go directly to this through iTunes restore from 2.2 OS? I don't want to brick my phone through the process.

So another question regarding this; does the 3.0 Jailbreak slow down the 2G phone pretty significantly?

No it does not slow the phone at all, you'll be fine. Just follow the instructions for the type of iPhone you have and Mac or PC, you'll be good too go. Enjoy.....................O_o
