Does anyone know an idiots guide to upgrading my firmware without loosing any programs email anything. preferably the new 3.o o/s or details on how to do it when it comes out.

sure just dl a cfw and hold shift key and select restore in itunes and select the cfw to restore to. You can find some cfw on my site HERE
