Preserving Baseband with Pwnage 3.0

i m on iPhone 3g 2.2 with baseband 2.28, wanna upgrade to 3.0 with the same baseband.

I think i can do that using Pwnage tool 3.0 and unchecking the update baseband option right?

why do you want to keep the same baseband... just update the baseband and use ultrasn0w to unlock
