Terminal crashing after 3.0 jailbreak

Hi folks,

First post here. I just jailbroke and restored to 3.0 on my iphone 3G. MobileTerminal crashes now when I try to open it. I don't do much in the terminal, but wanted to change the default passwords, as I have netatalk running.

Any ideas on how I can get this working? Permissions issue?

I am having the same problem with the terminal.
Actually, alot of the (hacked) apps are crashing at launch including Cydia.

I read a post regarding the crashing of Cydia saying that jailbreaking the phone with Icy installed in the image totally screws cydia (and maybe linked to the crashing of these other apps).

I dont have access to a mac at the moment to rejailbreak my phone and try it but when i do i will post the results.

So it may be worth trying this:
1. Restore the Phone back to the unhacked 3.0 OS
2. Rejailbreak using Pwnage Tool, but make sure to UNCHECK ICY APP during the jailbreaking process.
3. Hopefully Cydia (and MobileTerminal) should then launch without a hitch
4. If you do want Icy, you can then install it from Cydia by first installing the RipDev Source, and Icy will then be available through install via Cydia

P.S. Just an FYI make sure you are not accidentally using the 3.1 beta image for the factory restore or jailbreak as you will loose Ultrasnow (as mentioned in the iphone dev blog)
