Lets get to the problem. Like most of you i updated my 3G to official 3.0 because i use it on official carrier so unlock is not a problem. Yesterday when the pwnage tool was released i downloaded a custom ipsw and tried to restore but Error 1600 ocured. I searched tons of post and finally found it.
1 Download quickpwn 3.0 beta 5
2 Download 3.0 ipsw beta 5
3 Download 3.0 custom ipsw
4 Start quickpwn beta 5 and select beta 5 ipsw
5 Jailbreak
6 After jailbreak will restart in pink recovery mode
7 Conect to iTunes and Shift restore with custom ipsw 3.0
8 Enjoy DEV-Team's gift

PS For those with problems updating to custom 3.0 just update to official ipsw 3.0 and then follow this guide.

What version of iTunes are you using? I heard Quickpwn won't work on iTunes 8.2 version. Can you clarify that?
